Lately, I've observed a recurring trend among executives

1. A request to schedule a call is made.
2. A prompt response is provided.
3. Then, silence.

It may be tempting to dismiss this with a simple explanation - "They're just not interested, move on”.

It’s not about the actual thing.
This pattern repeats itself in various aspects of these executives' lives, including their relationships with their teams, clients, and even their family and friends:
- Requests are made to teams, who deliver promptly, only for the results to sit in inboxes and eventually lose relevance.
- Last-minute requests to reschedule or cancel meetings.
- Deadlines are set and commitments made, yet often, the promised deliverables never materialize.
- A 'yes' is given when reality should be a 'no'.
- Lack of or no communication

And the people on the receiving end are left feeling:

**** 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Are your commitments realistic, and do you honor them?
**** 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: How do you handle interactions - Are you respectful and engaged?
